Monitoring responses to avian and human influenza threats

The World Bank and the office of the UN System Influenza Coordinator (UNSIC) are working together to monitor and report on the response to avian influenza and progress with pandemic preparedness within individual countries worldwide.

The first progress report was published in July 2006. UNSIC and the World Bank anticipate reporting at six months intervals.
